Frequently Asked Questions about the Login/Registration Enhancements
Changes in the way you login to GuamTax were made on March 1, 2021, to better protect your tax information. Read below to find out more, and then re-register to get your new user account, if you haven't already done so.
User Registration
I already had a GuamTax login account. Why do I need to re-register?
Previously, GuamTax required you to enter your EIN or SSN in order to login. In an effort to better secure your tax information, we've revamped the registration and login process to allow you to use a username and password of your choosing. These changes took effect March 1, 2021.
Will I still be able to use my current GuamTax ID Number and Access Code to login?
No. You must re-register to use GuamTax.
When I re-register for GuamTax, can I use the same EIN/SSN and Access Code as my new username and password?
No. There are certain restrictions that will be enforced in you selection of a username and password. These restrictions will not allow an EIN/SSN as a username, nor will it allow a five digit password.
I've used GuamTax in the past to file my GRT and renew my business license. Will I still be able to access these previous filings and licenses?
When you go through the GuamTax registration process, along with specifying a new login username, you will be required to enter your GRT account number and the associated EIN/SSN. After registration is completed and you login with your new username, you will have access to the historical online filings and renewals associated with the EIN/SSN entered in registration.
So for example, if you previously logged in with EIN 999999999, and you re-register and enter the same EIN 999999999, then YES, you will be able to access your previous filings and licenses.
What do I need to register?
All you need is:
- A valid email address;
- Your mailing address;
- An existing GRT account number; and
- The EIN/SSN associated with the GRT account specified.

After I re-register, will I still have access to policies that I've submitted?
